Welcome to the Canterbury Woods Elementary School PTA
Home of the Cougars!
We are so excited that you are joining our wonderful school! We look forward to a great year filled with events for the students, parents, and the community; providing academic enhancements and supporting our students and teachers so they can continue to thrive. With your support, we will keep Canterbury Woods Elementary School (CWES) a distinguished and excellent school for our children. We urge you to learn more about our school and our PTA. Your contribution, whether it is your time, knowledge, or resources make a difference to our students.
Our PTA offers many events that are designed to strengthen community connections, inside and outside of the school, in addition to supporting classroom programs and activities that enhance learning. Some examples include: Popsicles on the Playground, Cougar Crawl, Movie Night, Bingo Night, Fun Fair, Mother's Day Tea, Virginia Day, Egypt Day, etc. Check out our Committee's page for the complete list and a synopsis of each event, activities, and programs that the PTA supports.
To better serve our parents, students, school, and the community, the PTA has launched a website where CWES families can stay informed and engaged with the PTA.

Click here for the online Cash Box Request Form. Use this form to provide the Treasurer with information needed to provide cash boxes to make change at PTA events where items will be sold.

Click here to access the 2019-2020 CWES PTA Deposit Slip. This excel file should be completed by any PTA committee member collecting cash or checks for an activity or event.
Click here to access the Funds Request Form. This form is for requesting funds that are not included in the PTA's fiscal budget. Please fill out this form if you are a teacher, staff member or PTA committee volunteer requesting additional funds from the PTA. Once we get your request one of our PTA team members will contact you. *Note, this is not a reimbursement request form. Teachers requesting funds should send their request to the Principal first before completing this form.
